Italian Scootermania

In an attempt to overcome the traffic problem in San Remo (and other Italian cities), many have opted for the "motorini" (scooters). There are so many of them now, that they have created a congestion and parking problem of their own.

Viewed from the relative safety of the roadside, they make for fascinating observation in the way they weave and dodge their four-wheeled rivals - and themselves. Often seen on the move with more than the designed for two passenger configuration!
